Advance Auto Parts looks within for new SVP operations
ROANOKE, Va. — Advance Auto Parts has promoted Jon Dehne to SVP of market availability, inventory management and merchandise operations.
Dehne will be responsible for all aspects of the development and execution of Advance’s in-market availability strategy. As part of his responsibilities, he will lead replenishment and operations strategies as well as pricing capability and strategy to leverage gross margin and sales growth. He will also lead the supply chain inventory and data analysis functions. Dehne will report to Charles Tyson, EVP of merchandising, marketing and supply chain and will continue to be based in Minneapolis, Minn.

Dehne joined Advance in 2008 as VP of merchandising process development and most recently served as VP of replenishment, merchandising operations and capability. Prior to joining Advance, he served as VP of enterprise transformation with Best Buy. Prior to Best Buy, Dehne spent eight years with Nash Finch Company, a publicly traded wholesale food distributor in the United States, where he held various positions. He has a master’s in business administration from the University of St. Thomas located in St. Paul, Minn., and a bachelor’s of science in business management from St. Cloud State University located in St. Cloud, Minn.
