NEW YORK — The Jones Group has named Greg Clark to the position of chief marketing officer, effective immediately. Clark will report to Stefani Greenfield, chief creative officer, and will oversee global marketing and brand identity for the company's portfolio of fashion brands.

In his role as CMO, Clark will spearhead global creative marketing and communications, including digital media strategy, brand development and creative.
Clark most recently served as SVP creative marketing for JCPenney. Prior to joining JCPenney, Clark held executive creative and marketing positions at various retailers including Toys'R'Us, Marshall Fields and Lane Bryant.
