Macy's helps raise awareness, funds for breast cancer research
NEW YORK Macy's announced that in honor of breast cancer awareness month this October, it will be offering exclusive pink fashions, cosmetics and home merchandise.
"Macy's has been a staunch advocate of the breast cancer awareness movement, not only during the month of October, but throughout the year. Breast cancer affects all of us and its impact can be felt globally. Our partnership with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation allows everyone to join in the fight - from our vendors that design exclusive merchandise, to employees who volunteer their time, and of course, to the customers who give generously through shopping at our stores," said Martine Reardon, EVP marketing, Macy's Inc. "For more than 10 years we've supported the BCRF's research and prevention initiatives, and we'll continue to champion this cause until a cure is found."
Purchase of select products will result in a donation to BCRF. They include Sketchers' Pink Shape-Up sneaker; Clinique's Lip Trio key ring and Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion; Bobbi Brown's Pink Shimmer Brick; and Michael Kors' Very Hollywood.
