Nestle Waters North America names new president and CEO
STAMFORD, Conn. — Nestle Waters North America has named Tim Brown as its new president and CEO. Brown replaces current Nestle Waters North America president and CEO Kim Jeffery, who plans to assume a non-executive chairman position effective Feb. 1, 2013.
Brown, 49, was president and CEO of Nestle Canada since 2010, where he oversaw global brands including Stouffer's, Lean Cuisine, Buitoni, Nescafe, Kit Kat and Smarties. The total Nestle in Canada business employs 3,500 people in 21 facilities. Under Brown, Nestle Canada was recognized as one of the Best Workplaces in Canada in 2012. Before Nestle Canada, Brown spent 22 years at NWNA, heading retail operations as EVP and GM.
"I am excited to continue to build on the legacy achieved by Kim Jeffery," says Brown. "Kim led the company from a single brand to the largest bottled water company in North America, while emphasizing environmental responsibility and cultivating the very best corporate culture in the food and beverage business."
Jeffery, 64, has been with the company since 1978, and assumed the top position in 1992.
