Lay's potato chips has issued a last call for submissions in its search for its next potato chip flavor. Fans now have less than a month to submit their "Do Us A Flavor" contest submissions for a chance to win a $1 million grand prize.

Lay's potato chips has issued a last call for submissions in its search for its next potato chip flavor. Fans now have less than a month to submit their "Do Us A Flavor" contest submissions for a chance to win a $1 million grand prize.  

Submissions are open on www.dousaflavor.com until 11:59:59 p.m. (EST) Saturday, April 5. This marks the second time the Lay's "Do Us A Flavor" contest has been held in the U.S.

PURCHASE, N.Y. — Mauro Porcini has been named chief design officer at PepsiCo, the company announced.

Porcini, who served as chief design officer at 3M, will responsible for infusing design thinking into PepsiCo's organization and culture by globally managing design with a creative, innovative and consumer-centered approach for PepsiCo's brands, with a strong focus on its top 12 global brands: Pepsi, Lay's, Gatorade, Quaker, Tropicana, Lipton, Sierra Mist/7UP, Doritos, Cheetos, Mountain Dew, Sun and Mirinda.

Target shoppers whose Fourth of July activities involve more than eating Doritos and drinking Coke can expect to pay considerably more than last year. The company is again offering Doritos at two bags for $4, although this year the bag contains 11.5 ounces of product compared with 12 ounces last year, and Coke products are being offered at three 12-packs for $9 as opposed to last year’s comparable promotion of Pepsi product 12-packs for $3.
