New merchandising leader arrives at OfficeMax

OfficeMax has named a new executive to lead its merchandising initiatives including category management, strategic product planning, global sourcing, private label expansion and cost of goods sold.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — OfficeMax has named a new executive to lead its merchandising initiatives including category management, strategic product planning, global sourcing, private label expansion and cost of goods sold. The company anounced that  Ronald Lalla has been named EVP, chief merchandising officer, effective Monday, March 19. He will report to Michael Lewis, EVP, president retail.

Children's Place names head of global sourcing

The Children's Place Retail Stores has announced the appointment of Peter Warner as SVP global sourcing, effective immediately.

SECAUCUS, N.J. — The Children's Place Retail Stores has announced the appointment of Peter Warner as SVP global sourcing, effective immediately. Warner will report to Eric Bauer, COO, and will serve as a member of the company's senior leadership team. He will be responsible for the global sourcing and production functions, technical services and Asian operations.
