Former VS exec to be chief designer at Guess

Guess has appointed former Victoria’s Secret executive Sharleen Ernster Lazear as chief design officer, overseeing all product categories for the Guess brands. She will report to CEO Paul Marciano.

Former American Eagle exec named an SVP at Guess

LOS ANGELES — Guess has appointed Hillary Super as SVP, general merchandise manager for, reporting to Paul Marciano, co-founder and CEO.

Guess Inc. top finance execs resign

Guess? Inc. announced tht its COO, J. Michael Prince; and SVP and CFO, Dennis Secor.

LOS ANGELES — Guess? Inc. announced tht its COO, J. Michael Prince; and SVP and CFO, Dennis Secor.  Both are leaving to pursue other interests. Prince will remain with the company until Nov. 26 and Secor will remain with the company until Dec. 7.

Paul Marciano, CEO, stated, "We wish Michael and Dennis well in their future endeavors and thank them for their contributions to our company. Given the depth of our management team, we expect a very smooth and orderly transition."

Guess makes executive appointments

Guess Inc. has appointed Chet Kuchinad as chief people officer and Amber Tarshis as SVP marketing.

LOS ANGELES — Guess Inc. has appointed Chet Kuchinad as chief people officer and Amber Tarshis as SVP marketing.

Kuchinad joined Guess on Feb. 1. His experience also includes senior executive roles at Nike and Starbucks Coffee Co.

Tarshis joined the company on Feb. 13. She most recently served as chief marketing officer for The Hub TV Network, a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro.

Guess? Inc. has announced that Maurice Marciano, the company's co-founder and chairman of its board of directors, has notified the company of his decision to retire as an executive officer when his current employment agreement expires on Jan. 28, 2012, the end of the company's current fiscal year.

New leadership named at Guess North America

Guess announced Monday that it has appointed Nancy Shachtman as its president of North America, reporting to Paul Marciano, CEO and vice chairman.

Los Angeles -- Guess announced Monday that it has appointed Nancy Shachtman as its president of North America, reporting to Paul Marciano, CEO and vice chairman.

Shactman was previously president of Guess Inc. Wholesale. In her new position, she will oversee the North American retail operations for Guess and Guess by Marciano, as well as Guess Wholesale, including Mexico.
