Home Depot has added Samsung to its portfolio of leading appliance brands, which already includes Whirlpool, LG, GE, GE Profile, Maytag, Frigidaire, Electrolux and Adora.

ATLANTA — Home Depot has added Samsung to its portfolio of leading appliance brands, which already includes Whirlpool, LG, GE, GE Profile, Maytag, Frigidaire, Electrolux and Adora.

The home improvement retailer will carry Samsung appliances at its more than 2,000 stores nationwide and online beginning Sunday, December 9.

Walmart 'guarantees' customers its best Black Friday ever

Walmart has unveiled its Black Friday circular and event times on www.Walmart.com as well as its Facebook wall and mobile app.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart has unveiled its Black Friday circular and event times on www.Walmart.com as well as its Facebook wall and mobile app. The retailer's Black Friday circular includes hundreds of brand name electronics, toys, apparel, sporting goods and home and houseware items. Backed by Walmart's ad match guarantee, items featured in the Black Friday circular will be available during three events starting at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22.

AT&T adds prepaid phones to GoPhone lineup

AT&T announced that it has partnered with LG for the launch of its first prepaid smartphone. The LG Thrive and LG Phoenix will join AT&T's GoPhone lineup on April 17.

DALLAS --  AT&T announced that it has partnered with LG for the launch of its first prepaid smartphone. The LG Thrive and LG Phoenix will join AT&T's GoPhone lineup on April 17. 

Both smartphones will be available for purchase nationwide at AT&T company-owned retail stores and in select national retail locations.

Both feature a 3.2 inch color full-touch display, Android 2.2 platform, Exchange email support, unlimited Wi-Fi usage on the entire national AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spot network and a 3.2-megapixel camera.
