Earlier this year, Pepsi and Prince Royce teamed up to surprise New York fans with a free performance the week leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII. In addition, Prince Royce appeared in a Pepsi intermission spot that aired during this year's 56th Annual Grammy Award show.

Retailers have been taking advantage of the much-anticipated "Royal Wedding" to promote their own wedding services, but one of the more surprising of the bunch is 99 Cents Only Stores, which used the hoopla around the upcoming union of Prince William and Kate Middleton to announce the launch of its "Bridal Registry" for couples.

Walmart Foundation donated $3 million to the initiative being run collectively by the Food Research and Action Center (FRAC), National Association of Elementary School Principals Foundation, National Education Association Health Information Network, and School Nutrition Foundation.
