Keurig Store shoppers will be able to test Keurig brewers and beverages from Keurig K-Cup, Keurig Vue and Keurig Rivo systems. In addition to providing the full line of Keurig brewers, the Keurig Store will offer on-site demonstrations, special promotions, new product offerings and unique Keurig accessories.

Bosco brand chocolate syrup is making its Walmart debut in 530 stoes in 12 Eastern states including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.

TOWACO, N.J. — Bosco brand chocolate syrup is making its Walmart debut in 530 stoes in 12 Eastern states including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.

Bosco which comes in a 22 ounce squeeze bottle is all-natural and vitamin-fortified. Walmart will sell Bosco for $1.98.

Dick’s Sporting Goods isn’t the only rapidly growing sporting goods chain based in the Northeast.

Lesser know Olympia Sports based in Westbrook, Maine, recently surpassed its 200th location and has begun a march south and west from its home state. The company plans to open 25 stores during its current fiscal year, including its first store in West Virginia and others in states south of New York. A similar pace of expansion is expected for the following fiscal year beginning in October.

WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — Five Shaw’s Supermarkets in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, have reached a major environmental milestone in the company’s “zero waste” program by diverting over 90% of all store waste from local landfills.

The environmental impact of the five stores has been significant:

  • In November 2010, the stores were generating an average of 745 lbs. of waste each day per store.
