DC Comics' costumed superheroes are heading to PetSmart stores in July. The specialty pet retailer will debut an exclusive line of DC Comics-themed pet apparel and toys for dogs by Fetch for Pets.

NEW YORK — DC Comics' costumed superheroes are heading to PetSmart stores in July. The specialty pet retailer will debut an exclusive line of DC Comics-themed pet apparel and toys for dogs by Fetch for Pets.

The licensing partnership between Fetch for Pets and Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Entertainment features DC Comics characters such as Superman and Dynamic Duo Batman and Robin. Along with T-shirts, dresses and bandanas the line also includes ball bodies, teethers, bottle crunchers and plush figures.

BURBANK, Calif. — Gearing up for the summer release of superhero flick Green Lantern, Warner Bros. Consumer Products is teaming up with licensee Mattel to help fans fight evil through a new branded toy line.

WBCP said Mattel will bring "Green Lantern" to life by producing the lineup, which includes:

  • The Green Lantern Ring Blast jet figure and vehicle;

  • The Green Lantern Battle Shifters figures;

  • The Green Lantern Movie Masters figures; and

Consumer Products announced that it is teaming up with a leading group of global licensees at Toy Fair in support of the Summer 2011 blockbuster film, Green Lantern, highlighted by DC Entertainment's master licensee, Mattel.  The June 17 release of Green Lantern from Warner Bros. Pictures, marks the live-action theatrical debut for the legendary comic super hero, the company reported.
