MINNEAPOLIS — Yoplait yogurt has unveiled new packaging design for Go-Gurt, which features prominent health labels. 

"Our consumers expressed their need for a product that doesn't contain high fructose corn syrup for their kids and we listened and acted," said Justin Conzemius, Yoplait associate marketing director. "For the past year, we have been working on a product that would achieve those goals, yet continue to deliver a product that kids found fun and delicious."

At this year’s NRF show, Peter LaFond, Walmart’s marketing director for online media and smart network, showcased how his company utilizes its in-store video network to deliver targeted, relevant messages to its customers.

At a session titled “In-store digital marketing at Walmart: Case studies from 2010,” LaFond introduced the smart network with a promotional video that explained the marketing strategy behind the network – namely, to focus on “Walmart moms,” which it claimed make the majority of purchasing decisions for their households.

NEW YORK - In response to a national survey, which found that many women often are disappointed with their purchase of household products and desire more product innovation, Procter & Gamble has developed the multipronged “Have You Tried This Yet?” campaign as a way to highlight the manufacturer’s newer, more unique products. As part of the campaign, P&G opened to the public on Oct. 22 an interactive pop-up store in New York to drive awareness and product trials.
